It’s less than a week until Final Fantasy XIV has its first major update for its current expansion cycle, and the update site just got a corresponding dump of new information. Unfortunately for some of the patch features, this also means that it’s confirmed you’ll have to wait for certain things; Blue Mage updates are arriving in 5.15, for example, and both Ultimate and Ishgard restoration will require waiting until patch 5.11. A little bit of a delay from next Tuesday’s patch day, then.
The one thing that may or may not have a delay (it’s unclear) is the sleekly futuristic gear being added as a new set of PvP rewards, although the new Naadam Frontline map will require waiting until 5.15. There’s also a look at new hairstyles, mounts, and some of the gear rewarded for helping in the restoration of the Holy See of Ishgard. So yes, you might have to wait a little bit longer, but it all looks worth the wait.
