Blade & Soul’s 4th anniversary event includes the new Hunter’s Refuge

Someone's dropping a hit single.

Wait, we’ve had Blade & Soul for four years now? That doesn’t seem right, but it is in fact correct, as evidenced by several things including the fourth anniversary event running with the latest patch. Players can complete daily quests for currency, which in turn can be spent on valuable items and cosmetic rewards to ring in another year in the right style. There’s also new stuff in the Dragon Express to help players out along the journey, so that seems to tie together nicely.

This patch also brings in the Hunter’s Refuge, a limited-time zone that’s a twisted version of the better-known (and less twisted) Moon’s Refuge. The patch advertises that your goal here is to kill or be killed, which is perhaps a touch confrontational but will hopefully put you in the right mindset to survive in the zone as a whole. Check out the full set of patch notes to get a sense of what awaits four years into the title’s lifespan.
