The Elder Scrolls Online has had another moment to check in with performance update details, and it looks like most everything is on track to arrive as promised back in the November update.
Just as a refresher, Update 25 of ESO, which arrives in conjunction with the Harrowstorm DLC, is bringing faster load times for fixtures and characters, improved patching and framerates, and introducing the second phase of behind-the-scenes combat ability improvements in Q1 of this year. In fact, the update in question is currently already available on the PTS.
The next quarter of the year will bring Update 26 and optimizations and stability improvements to servers, another round of framerate improvements including new code to improve character drawing and FX management, and yet another phase of combat ability improvements that focuses on AoE ability performance on the server.
This month’s Performance Improvement Plan update is here. With Update 25 on the horizon, a number of changes will be coming to all platforms. https://t.co/KpU3RJnbBh pic.twitter.com/lw7JmMQGoU
