I’ve seen a lot of weird stuff in my day as an MMORPG player, but I’d never seen anyone eat 999 eggs before Ross Donovan did it in Final Fantasy XIV. Why did he eat 999 eggs? Because someone gave them to him. Because he could. Because it made for fun absurdist Twitch. Who knows. You can’t make this stuff up.

I tried my best to get MOP’s Eliot to write about this, and he responded by telling me about some other weird stunts in the game that put this one to shame. I love MMO players sometimes.
