Gloria Victis has shifted all early access players to upgraded client-side engine

Here comes a rugby match.

For a few months now, Gloria Victis has been splitting its attention. Some players have been using the upgraded engine client while others have been using the old one. But no longer, as the most recent announcement states that the game will be moving purely into the upgraded version after all of the testing provided by other players. This may result in some players having their settings reset to the default, unfortunately.

The bright side, however, is that all reports indicate that the new client is more stable and has a higher consistent frame rate, especially during larger battles. That’s a good thing for any game that wants to have some large-scale sieges going, and it should ultimately allow the developers to make further improvements and push the game even further in terms of both performance and content. Players who run into issues are asked to submit bug reports along the way.
