Wrath Classic opens dungeon challenges while World of Warcraft tests Dragonflight Season 4

Even with Cataclysm Classic’s testing underway, Wrath Classic has one last trick up its sleeve. This week, Blizzard rolled out Operation Gnomeregan and Zalazane’s Fall for Alliance and Horde players, respectively, to beat.

These events promise rich rewards: “Get increased dungeon drops in Wrath of the Lich King Classic and take part in the UPrising of gnomes and trolls as they work to reclaim their homelands. Alliance players will heed the call of High Tinker Mekkatorque in Operation Gnomeregan and members of the Horde will be called to Vol’jin’s side as he set his sights on Zalazane and the Echo Isles.”

And speaking of squeezing a bit more life out of an aging expansion, World of Warcraft is testing Dragonflight’s fourth season right now on the PTR. This season comes with improved dungeon progression, new rotations, more rewards, a new PvP season, and a hard mode for Dawn of the Infinite.

Finally, here’s a preview of the items coming to WoW’s trading post next month:
