If you have anything you want to accomplish in Final Fantasy XIV ahead of the launch of Dawntrail, you will want to get that done before June 26th at 5:00 a.m. EDT. That’s when 48 hours of maintenance starts for the game’s expansion patch. The conclusion of maintenance will correspond with the start of early access for the expansion and is scheduled for June 28th at 5:00 a.m. EDT, but it may potentially be delayed; however, it will not end before that time.

Players are also encouraged to download the patch early to make sure that they complete downloading everything ahead of the launch, with the patch expected to be available on console on June 26th and on computers on June 27th. It’s good advice to download the patch ahead of time, especially since it’ll be a big one with the graphics update. Until then, well… it’s time to prepare for heading to Tural in a little more than a week.
