Dungeons and Dragons Online delays Magic of Myth Drannor expansion to August 14

Standing Stone Games has a bit of bad news for Dungeons and Dragons Online players: Its Magic of Myth Drannor expansion has been delayed a few more weeks. Or maybe it’s good news, since it means more development time. You decide.

Readers will recall that livestreams and the original expansion page had set the planned expansion launch for July 31st, with the caveat that it could be delayed as long as August 30th. But the current expansion landing page has been updated to show August 14th as the launch date, with the August 30th caveat still lurking in the background.

“We are getting ready to release Magic of Myth Drannor and we want to share an updated release date with you today,” SSG’s Cordovan clarified on the forums. “Magic of Myth Drannor will release on Wednesday, August 14th, 2024. We currently have a loot preview happening on Lamannia, and we’re planning for another preview later this month. We look forward to sharing more of our next expansion with you in the coming weeks!”
