You know the song.

It may be hard to believe, but it has now been seven years since Albion Online launched, and in that time we’ve named it the best PvP MMORPG available for three years running now. No, really, they take note of that in today’s retrospective on the game’s past year. Not that it’s the biggest thing that happened, since the past year included the Wild Blood update, the Crystal Raiders update, and the Foundations update. Those were big features with a lot of additions.

The year also saw the launch of the new European servers for the game, all of which contributed to the game reaching a new high for daily concurrency that surpassed the prior record set a year back. And with the Paths to Glory update due out on July 22nd, there’s still more coming to Albion Online as we pass the seventh anniversary and look to the eighth. So let’s take a moment to look back on the positive road the game has had through 2023 and 2024 while in-game festivities continue apace.
