With its full launch out of early access just a few weeks away, Wayfinder is getting all of its high-tech affairs in order for the big day. Priority One for the start of October? Activating crossplay between PC and PlayStation 5 players.

“Players on PC and PS5 can now team up directly by entering the lobby invite code of their friends on other platforms! We are enabling crossplay today in preview to iron out any bugs that may remain before our launch on October 21st,” said Airship Syndicate, which went on to qualify this period as a “preview” of more stable things to come.

Wayfinder’s studio said that the online RPG has already popped up on more than 700,000 Steam wishlists in preparation for the release. There also are post-launch plans in the works to add modding support as well as “additional content drops.”
