WoW Classic isn’t done with Season of Discovery quite yet, as Blizzard announced that it’s bringing Phase 6 to the experimental server on November 21st. The centerpiece of this patch is the gradual opening of the Gates of Ahn’Qiraj, but as always, this is going to take the whole community make happen.
The “war effort” period between the Horde and Alliance will run from the 21st through the 29th, followed by a two-day war (December 4th), and the opening of a trio of high-level instances on December 6th.
“At the completion of the 48-hour war, the Ruins of Ahn’Qiraj (a 10+ player raid dungeon) and the Temple of Ahn’Qiraj (a 20+ player raid dungeon) opens, allowing players access to the dangers and treasures within,” the studio said. It also clarified that the Nightmare Grove with its five bosses will become available the same day.
Meanwhile, Cataclysm Classic phase 3 aka Rage of the Firelands is officially live as of last night.
