Kakao is taking baby steps to zoom in on a potential global launch window for its upcoming fantasy MMO Chrono Odyssey. Previously, the studio hoped that the game would come out in 2025, but during Kakao’s Q3 2024 financials earlier this week, it narrowed that window down to the fourth quarter — so about a year from now.
“Chrono Odyssey is an open-world MMORPG where time dictates destiny,” the developers said. “Players will be able to experience exhilarating battles with colossal bosses, adventures that utilize the Chronotector, a device that manipulates time and space, complex characters, and innovative storytelling.”
