I struggle answering because I had an absolute blast playing Guild Wars 2 – mostly combat and exploration – this year, but I’m hard-pressed to say it’s the best. Large-scale fights still seem like a clusterfuck of dazzling lights and mixed signals. It always seems like everyone’s just trying to make it through.
