Heroes of the Storm closes out 2024 with its fourth balancing and bugfixing patch of the year

The tail end of 2023 saw something pleasantly surprising out of Blizzard (for once): A sudden series of patches for its MOBA Heroes of the Storm after it entered maintenance mode on its seventh birthday. That surprise trend continued through this year, with three more patches – and now there’s a fourth.

This latest patch once again doesn’t bring anything new to the content table (obviously), but it does apply another round of balance adjustments to many of its heroes, brings back the Snow Brawl map for use in custom games, and applies a pretty significant list of bug fixes to characters. That means there’s something different for those who still enjoy Blizzard’s MOBA, even if it isn’t something new, and that’s not nothing.
