How do you feel about harvesting (aka the linchpin feature of the Harvest League) in Path of Exile? Perhaps your opinion will change once patch 3.11.1 arrives, the patch notes of which been made available to read right now.

As alluded to in that lede, this upcoming patch will make a number of changes to the harvesting mechanic, including a new seed that can drop from certain monsters and bosses which can be planted in the Sacred Grove to give nearby seeds additional additional properties when harvested among other adjustments.

Harvest crafting will be getting updates in the patch as well: Growth times of Tier 1 seeds will be a static three growth cycles with the exception of rare seeds, Harvest Crafts can no longer be used on Itemised Beasts, and a slew of bug fixes are in the works. There’s also several general gameplay improvements coming with the patch, naturally.

The next update is due at some point at the end of the week for PC with a launch on consoles shortly after. For now, players can see if these tweaks will change their minds about the harvest.
