One Shots: Where’s the seatbelt on this thing?

As flashy and fun as it might be to adventure in a galaxy far, far away, I don’t think any of us would last long considering the lack of safety equipment on pretty much all modes of transportation. If you want a vehicle that is guaranteed to introduce you to blunt force trauma, why not hop on a speeder bike with no seatbelt and accelerate to .5 c? I’m sure your Jedi training will help you dodge that… no, you’re dead now.

Hikari is ignoring all of the caution signs by zipping off into the sunset: “SWTOR Galactic Season 6 gives us a Chiss stronghold on Copero and speeders inspired by the Book of Boba Fett biker kids, so got some shots of those.”

“Day 3 of May’s login rewards in ESO gave us a free house, and of course I had to check it out,” said Katriana. “Arriving inside the front door, it’s an impressive desert estate, but nothing out of the ordinary – aside from a gaping hole in the ground under that red awning that offers up a glimpse of something else below. An unassuming doorway to the side leads to a ramp down into a glorious crystal lined cavern that houses a subterranean lake large enough to swim in.”

I don’t even know what Minimalistway is up to here, but it looks both safe and professional. In an unrelated note, we’re going to need a vat of aloe vera, stat.

“Khloe Aliapoh must burn, give me three lines you evil child! FFXIV players know what I mean.”

While most superheroes are off saving the more savory parts of the city, Utakata is giving City of Heroes’ Red Light District a careful patrol. That high up, any water balloon dropped is going to hit the ground (or people) with the force of a small bomb. Random intrusive thought of the day.

And I’ll bring things to a close with this shot of my LOTRO Lore-master gazing upon a large burial mound in Cardolan. You bet your sweet Hobbit biscuits that it’s fully haunted, even in broad daylight. I’d be honestly surprised if it wasn’t.

Think you can do better than all these, ya big shot? You come in here with your swagger and your print screen button, thinking that you’re a screenshot cowboy… and you just might be right. Let’s see what you’ve got to prove down there in the comments!

Every week, One Shots shines a spotlight on the best community screenshots from your MMO adventures. If you have a great pic to share, email it to justin@massivelyop.com with the subject “One Shots.” Make sure that the picture is over 880px wide and comes with a description or story!
