Last night, the Settlers of Kalguur update hit Path of Exile, which of course means it’s time for the usual check-in on how the first day went. And the short answer is “busy” according to the game’s live update thread.

The newly opened league saw Grinding Gear Games handle a wide assortment of bugs and client crashes that were addressed with up to five hotfixes at the time of this writing, along with specific updates for the PlayStation and Xbox versions in order to address a broken virtual keyboard problem. Fans who care to keep a close eye on everything going on will likely want to check the above link for the absolute latest.

Meanwhile, the game is hitting some new high numbers on Steam, with SteamDB reporting an all-new high of over 229K players hopping in on the day of Kalguur’s launch. The weekend is only just starting, so it’s possible things will continue to climb upward from here, but then that tracks considering the aforementioned busy-ness.
