Those sneaky sleuthy Redditors appear to have uncovered something that ArenaNet and NCsoft appear to be preparing to unveil. A SteamDB update shared by Redditor DwingRD has uncovered a new game known as Lion’s Arch: Guild Wars Arena, which looks to be readying for a private playtest soon.
Obviously SteamDB doesn’t have specific details about the game itself beyond Steam listing information, particularly since its listed genre is “unknown.” However, most gamers believe that this new title is a digital CCG that NCsoft was hiring for a year ago. This is also not the unofficial CCG a fan made in 2017, obviously.
This game’s arrival to the Steam platform happened only today, so it’s likely we’re not going to hear much of anything about it for some time yet. Still, a new Tyrian pastime appears to be coming down the pike.
