Path of Exile 2 shares 30 minutes of gameplay footage from this year’s Tokyo Game Show

How will Path of Exile 2 players salve themselves knowing that the OARPG’s early access is being delayed into December thanks to demons in the database? They can watch over 30 minutes of gameplay for a title they can’t get their hands on yet! Wait, that sounds worse when we frame it that way.

However you feel about it, Grinding Gear Games has isolated a pre-recorded video presentation of POE 2 from this year’s Tokyo Game Show, which sees game director Jonathan Rogers play the game with Sony Interactive Entertainment’s Shuhei Yoshida.

The footage demonstrated things like the variety of skills players can combine in combat such as a slam attack reigniting lines of magma that were applied to the ground earlier, how gems affect those skills, and some of the unique class mechanics on offer. It finally ends with the pair enjoying some couch co-op, so there’s some multiplayer boss fights to be watched as well.
