Eye see.

Besieged used to be a big deal for Final Fantasy XI, but in large part the game has moved on from when the content was new and relevant… but no longer. The game’s November version update is adding new high-level opposition and letting the beast tribes reach level 9, so when the enemies break in to storm the city players will be in for a real fight. Fortunately, the serpent generals protecting the Empire have also gotten a corresponding buff, and you can even get new currencies (and new items from said currencies) for successful defense.

The version update also brings with it a new round of Ambuscade opponents and some quality-of-life changes for Dynamis-Divergence, along with the usual rotation of monthly Records of Eminence objectives. Check out the full preview, which also highlights the next player survey and apologizes to English players for recent display text bugs during the last patch.
