If the voiceover on this “premium digital game” LawBreakers trailer sounds familiar, that’s because it’s Ice-T, whom Nexon has dubbed the “OG lawbreaker.” I love this job.
The trailer heralds sign-ups for the upcoming public alpha and the PAX East demo — they’re in booth #5116 if you happen to be at the con!
“LawBreakers is a first-person shooter in which even the laws of physics can be shattered, creating intense gravity-based combat and resulting in an ever-evolving and bloody arena. Set in a futuristic rebuilt America, players will choose whether to kill for the nobility of the “Law,” or go out for blood as a “Breaker,” as they take part in the conflict raging across iconic locations including the boiling oceans off the Santa Monica coastline, to a gravity ravaged Grand Canyon and nearly unrecognizable Mount Rushmore.”

I saw this on the floor at PAX East this morning. While I’m not really a fan of the FPS arenas, it was the visually impressive game I saw all day. And I saw a LOT of games today.

I think you sell yourself short. There’s thought (design) and composition in the pieces you offer — they’re certainly more than simple copy-paste.
Okay. Two men on the internet just gave each other unironic compliments. I believe we’re now required by international law to punch each other on the arm until it draws blood, while screaming “Football!!!!!” at the top of our lungs.
Oh, to be male in the early 21st century …
Cheers, pal,
You can defend it all you want, but he didn’t repent, he sold out. Bad acting on a TV show doesn’t make him a good person either.
He was part of a generation of hip hop artists that glorified violence, promoted the “gangsta lifestyle” and contributed to the conditions that made inner city life in the United states a deadly ordeal.
Having grown,up,in,the middle of the gang epidemic in southern ca, I can truthfully say that these guys have body counts. When kids grow up idolizeing artists who claim there is no way “out da hood” and that the only way to get by and survive is is to gangsta up and kill people who get in your way, yeah. . . It has an influence.
Did Ice-t ever get around to saying he was wrong to promote all of that?
Did he apologize for helping poor kids get used to the idea that they have no place in society?
Do you think he would ever have had a chance at a part on that show if he had not made himself famous by advocating murder?
mysecretid schlag sweetleaf I wish I had the artistic chops this person has;p I fall much more in the copy-pastafarian camp .All’s good though as long as it advances the theme .
Cheers to you Sir

The level of insanity — I mean humor! Humor! (hee hee) matches yours — but I guess I should’ve noticed that the amount of visual design and detail don’t rival that of a Schlag. :-)
Cheers,
All credit to the artist who made this, all I did was bring it before the MO-nions :)

You are a muthaf*ckin’ mad genius, Schlag! Hahahaha. The “Ice Cubes” are the crowning glory here!
Always happy to see a new arena shooter on the market. I hope one of the dozen or so arena shooters in development can get big. The genre really needs a revival.
Siphaed i really not see what the problem here?
the fps arena are back and its a good thing, not all of us love the team role fps moba kindish games.
you know those kind of games were a big a thing.
i’m talking about, UT, Quake Arena,
and now this genre is back with:
Doom multiplayer
UT (now in really good pre-alpha test)
LawBreaker
those are very competitive games and depend on knowing the map,be fast and know how to play as a team on some modes.
if you don’t like it it doesn’t mean other player not waiting for that from UT3 days.
