When it comes to safety, people often weigh the security of taking preventive measures against the annoyance of having to use them. The more tedious or lengthy a process, the more likely that a person is just going to go, “Forget this!”
So while using a mobile authenticator has been an important part of keeping your gaming account safe, chances are you’ve gotten annoyed at having to constantly request codes and type them in just to log into your game. This is why Blizzard is introducing a “one-button” mobile authenticator that’s even easier to use than its old version.
Instead of requesting and typing in codes, this authenticator waits until you (or Clark Criminal) tries to access one of your Blizzard accounts. It then notifies you via the app and asks you to approve or deny the request.
The Battle.net one-button mobile authenticator is available for both iOS and Android devices.
