AdventureQuest 3D kicks it up to Unity 5.4, plans Android beta for next week

The latest update to Unity seems to be sweeping through many up-and-coming titles using the engine, including AdventureQuest 3D.

With today’s patch, AdventureQuest 3D is now using Unity 5.4, although this has not come without some struggles. Apparently it initially turned most of the game stark raving pink as GPUs didn’t know what to do with it. Fortunately, it seems as though that’s been fixed.

In other big news for the game, closed beta testing for the Android version of the cross-platform game is set to commence on August 24th. This will happen, of course, if everything goes well from now until then. Apple users will have to wait until open beta to check out the title on iOS.
