The early access launch of Citadel: Forged with Fire was pretty darn recent, yet the game is also updating on a rapid clip. The most recent update adds the Bear Claw Gauntlet, Iron Armor, and five new crafting recipes for players to enjoy; this is even worth a new trailer down below, albeit a brief one. The game’s next big update is planned for Wednesday and should add a new dragon, skeleton warriors, new castle props, and wild boar. That’s not counting the many updates listed on the game’s update feed as bugs get patched and mechanics get improved.

All of this has worked out well for the game’s placement on Steam; both this title and Dark and Light broke into the digital distribution service’s top 10 list, meaning there’s plenty of interest in the game despite the usual stutters and stumbles of early access.
