Aw sad I missed it. But then I’ve missed all of the launch stuff including the prelaunch stream with DE Steve, all of the Twitch Streamers for the exclusive cosmetics and so on. That’s what I get for having a day job, then meeting friends for dinner and seeing Bladerunner 2049 at an Imax. Then having to sleep and go to work today too :/ This evening will be the earliest i get to fivist the Plains and, of course, I’ve missed the boat! Argh!

Awww, I missed the Stream – wanted to tell you about Maroo’s Bazaar, which is in Earth orbit and gives a weekly mission (involving a timed jumping puzzle) which is one way to get the stuff you need to hatch a space-puppy long before reaching Saturn. Watched the video instead, but stopped before the end as I don’t want to spoil myself for the quest!

You should be able to have a group of 4 in the Plains (which are remarkably hilly for plains…) as per a standard Warframe mission, but the launch had some initial problems with network errors (which have hopefully now been resolved by the hotfix patch that went out). And if you don’t pick up a Bounty mission before going out there, Spacemom will give you a random mission to do. I think all the missions have 3 stages to them?

Those Eidolon drones flying around at night are so annoying, as they do a lot of damage and (like the Eidolons themselves) they’re basically unkillable till you’ve done a high level quest. But hiding in the bushes and watching them attack a Grineer camp can be amusing :)

Ammo can be a problem in the Plains, but the Grineer camps do have ammo dispensers you can use – you run past one at about 39:13 in the video, the thing with glowing green bullet symbols above it.
