The British Navy just got an expansion in World of Warships today with the introduction of several aircraft carriers, adding to the vehicular combat title’s existing carriers from the nations of Japan and the USA. Three boats are specifically arriving to World of Warships in early access with update 0.8.1: the tier IV Hermes, tier VI Furious, and tier VIII Implacable.
British carriers feature planes with very high HP, making them slower than their American or Japanese cousins but more aggressive against ships with strong anti-aircraft defenses. Additionally, these planes reportedly pack a punch thanks to additional rockets and high-level bombs.
The three carriers added in update 0.8.1 can be earned from completing new missions and directives in the “Fly! Strike! Win!” in-game event. Additionally, those who log in to the game between Thursday, February 28th, and Thursday, March 14th, will receive Air Supply containers full of goodies like camos, resources, and combat missions to help unlock extra ships.
