Thanks, moopersmam

From Metropolis to Gotham, the world of DC Universe Online will soon be available in the palm of your hand when the game comes to the Nintendo Switch this August. The Switch version will include all the features of the game’s PC, PlayStation, and Xbox versions, allowing players to create their own heroes and villains and explore its “30 content episodes and over 100 free game updates.” And, like its sibling versions, the Switch version of the game will be free-to-play.

Accounts and characters from other platforms will not be transferable to the Switch version, so even long-time players will have to start fresh. And unfortunately, the game won’t feature crossplay with other platforms at launch, instead launching “with a brand-new, fresh server, separate from all other communities,” though the devs say that they “look forward to exploring crossplay options in the future.” DC Universe Online will officially hit the Switch on August 6th, but in the meantime, you can check out the official announcement trailer just below.
