It’s high time for the Worgen and Goblins to get some face lifts in World of Warcraft, and that’s one of the big updates with the game’s current testing of patch 8.2.5. But how do the new models actually look? We could just say “better” and leave it at that, or you could take a look at a full set of comparisons for both the Goblin models and the Worgen models on Wowhead, including the removal of the female Worgen’s awful permanent-snarl-face. That alone is an improvement.
There are other changes with more of a basis in content for the patch, of course; for example, there’s the new Honeyback Hive faction which leads to the long-awaited bee mount, which players have finally been able to start exploring on the test server. Or, heck, maybe you’d just be happy with a character selection screen that includes a faction icon and class name coloring. Minor improvements are still improvements.
