A couple of my guildies got their Steam Decks over the summer, and I have to say, I’m a bit jealous. I blew it off because of the expense, because of the fuss to get one, because of the size, because of reviews from people with small hands, and because I’m just not a huge console gamer. I’m a mouse-and-keyboard MMO person and probably always will be.
But the FOMO from people sitting on their couch playing MMORPGs…Â I mean, here’s ArenaNet’s Bobby Stein playing Guild Wars 2 on one, and damnit, I kinda want it now. I could see some MMOs working so well on this.
Update: having a blast playing GW2 on Steam Deck. Been dreaming of a handheld/controller experience for a decade and it's kinda blowing my mind. FYI I'm using Sam CW's Souls-like layout (trigger combat) and really like it! What layouts are you using? pic.twitter.com/IuAdp5wE2G

Did you get a Steam Deck, and if so, are you playing any MMOs on it? Was it worth it, or are the MMOs just a little side perk for you?
