With Sea of Thieves preparing to debut on the PlayStation 5 next month and “sixth anniversary antics” in full swing, this PvP pirate sim appears to be cresting on the waves of excitement. But wait, there’s more! On March 20th, Rare will host a preview event of the game’s next three seasons along with other features in development.
“The Sea of Thieves 2024 Preview Event will take place on March 20th, 2024,” the studio said. “As revealed in Sea of Thieves News, our sixth anniversary will deliver a sneak peek at some of the content inbound in Seasons 12, 13, and 14.”
Rare is also incorporating improved anti-cheat measures this month to keep the competitive playing field fair and square. This new anti-cheat solution, designed by Epic, is the same that’s covering Fortnite and League of Legends.
