Sure, Overwatch 2 may not contain the extensive PvE content that was ostensibly the entire reason for the sequel… or a lot of the gameplay modes that were promised… or even happy players. But what it definitely contains is the opportunity for product placement! Just yesterday the game announced a crossover of dubious appropriateness with the much-beloved Cowboy Bepop franchise, and today another one has been announced crossing over with Porsche. No, there’s not some kind of Porsche cinematic universe you were heretofore unaware of; it’s just the car brand placed on a new legendary D. Va skin.
If you want a silver-framed mech with a Porsche logo on it that you can’t see because that’s what a first-person shooter means, well, this collaboration has you covered. Supposedly there will be other skins and cosmetics yet to be revealed, with the D. Va skin inspired by Porsche’s new Macan Electric. More details will be available after Season 10 starts up, if this is particularly your jam.
