TERA is celebrating its sixth anniversary… on console, that is, because PC is still dead

Did you forget TERA was still alive? On console, anyway. The game’s latest update opens the Draakon Arena dungeon in regular and hard mode, adds new accessory gem items (Arun Stones and Shara Stones), kicked off the Ancient Dungeon essence event, and tweaked Archers. But perhaps the most important update is the opening of the console version’s sixth anniversary festivities.

“The 6th anniversary event will be started,” Bluehole says. “You can get ‘6th Anniversary Coin’ according to access time by parcel, and the maximum number of tokens that can be acquired per day is 35. ‘6th Anniversary Coin’ can’t trade. But you can store through Banker. These Coins can be redeemed for each component through the 6th Anniversary Event NPC located in the metropolis of Highwatch.” The event runs through May 29th.

TERA’s core PC version, of course, was sunsetted almost two years ago when the game was nearly 10 years old; publisher Gameforge was distraught over the sunset and put the blame squarely on Bluehole’s shoulders. “Gameforge has happily hosted a great community in TERA for almost 10 years now, and would have happily served players even longer, but without the support of the developers this is not feasible,” it lamented.
