Dark and Darker Mobile will enter into closed beta testing in August

Now that the world can play Dark and Darker on Steam early access after a lengthy legal kerfuffle between Nexon and developer Ironmace, it’s time for the game to take its next logical step: begin closed beta testing of its mobile version.

For those who don’t remember, Dark and Darker Mobile came by way of a licensing partnership between Ironmace and Krafton, even as the former was still locking legal horns with Nexon. Now it looks as if Krafton and developer Bluehole Studio is moving forward with what it’s calling a “global” test starting in August, though it will be available only to residents of Japan, Turkiye, and the United States. South Korea will also be involved in this test, which is the country’s second after it held a reportedly successful first beta in April.

More details about the test are promised on the game’s social channels and its official website, while its complete launch is still being projected for sometime this year.
