Hearthstone’s Perils in Paradise expansion has released

It’s time for some fun in the sun in Hearthstone, as this week brought the Perils in Paradise expansion to the digital CCG, featuring new mechanics and new cards, but not featuring a new game board as many players pointed out beforehand.

First, what’s added: The expansion has the new Tourist keyword that lets classes “visit” the mechanics of other classes for this expansion, benefit-granting location cards that can be re-opened early if certain prerequisites are met, and drink cards with three charges’ worth of distinct benefits.

Naturally, there is no shortage of opinions related to the new expansion, with many pointing out imbalance and attempting to find the latest meta interspersed with occasional expressions of enjoyment. As for that game board matter, that’s still something players have brought up; readers might remember that Blizzard promised information on that matter and what the dev team will focus on sometime this week.
