Considering what an insanely busy summer it’s been already and how much is yet to come in August, I have some concerns that Guild Wars 2’s expansion might get completely railroaded when it comes out next week — and that would be a shame.
I think there’s a whole lot going for Janthir Wilds, especially with its housing system and addition of the spear to all classes. And a new expansion is always a cause to celebrate within the faithful Guild Wars 2 community.
But with the packed summer and somewhat smaller scope of this expansion, where do you place Janthir Wild’s chances? Is it poised for success, or will it be a mere blip on the news radar before it’s forgotten? Or somewhere in between?
