It’s about to get spooky, ookie, and kooky in both Overwatch 2 and Hearthstone over the next few weeks, with the superheroic PvP FPS readying to celebrate the Halloween season and the digital card game bringing some interstellar new goodies to the card-based battlefields.

We’ll start with the upcoming 13th season of Overwatch 2 on Tuesday, October 15th. The so-called Spellbinder season will bring back the Halloween Terror event with a new PvP-focused Junkenstein’s Laboratory mode that features cursed talent cards, as well as the return of Junkenstein’s Revenge and Wrath of the Bride co-op PvE modes. The Halloween theme will also extend to the season’s battle pass, a witchy new mythic skin for Widowmaker, and My Hero Academia costumes in the cash shop.

Meanwhile in Hearthstone, the CCG’s next expansion has been revealed: The Great Dark Beyond will introduce new Dranei permanent minion cards, a new Starship keyword that will let players put together a class-specific starship that can be summoned to the field, the return of the Spellburst keyword, and the first incursion of the Flaming Legion in the form of new cards. The expansion is set to launch on Tuesday, November 5th, with a week-long pre-release Tavern Brawl starting on October 29th.
