Destiny 2’s Pop-Tarts and energy drink promo is everything wrong with this industry
and
Destiny 2 also has a line of scented candles
Bungie did a lot of super weird cross-promotiony things in the leadup to the launch of Destiny 2Â this fall, I can kind of understand the Pop-Tarts and energy drink thing if you’re going for ye olde gamers-eating-junk-food stereotype, but the scented candles? I still don’t with that. And I am burning a scented candle right now. I should be the target audience here!
I say Eliot wrote the candle one with exactly the seriousness it deserves. People got really mad over objections to the first one too, which continues to crack me up. It was a lame joke guys. Everyone knows breastplate nipples are really the worst thing in MMOs.
