A new alpha build of World of Warcraft: Shadowlands has arrived, and naturally that means it’s time to start datamining the heck out of it. Needless to say, the enterprising dataminers have already uncovered things, like a variety of anima powers as well as datamined ability changes. (Don’t get too worked up on those changes, since the changes were to abilities not even in testing yet.) It also includes a number of changed and altered text strings, including for Gnomes and Worgen.
Beyond that, there are new models being mined out, including the Ardenweald Moth, and new textures to boot. It’s all quite fragmentary at this point, but considering that we currently know the expansion is targeting a release of Q4 2020, there’s plenty of time to fill in more content as the expansion’s testing rolls on. Until then, well, there’s plenty of data to dig through and place in digestable format, at least.
