The Daily Grind: What was the best Guild Wars 2 living world season?

To date, there have been approximately five Guild Wars 2 living world seasons. Technically, The Icebrood Saga, which began last year, isn’t a season, but it’s close enough for Daily Grind purposes. And of course, the very first season, which was very event-focused rather than map-focused, is no longer fully playable. But I bet a lot of you played them and have opinions anyway.

The season that had my attention the most was season 3, which took the player from the Bloodstone Fen to Siren’s Landing. I liked it enough to finish it and bring alts back to some of the zones to farm it. I didn’t finish season 4, not even close, but I enjoyed what I did play. To me, those arcs were when the living story really hit its stride. Season 1 was fun, but the lack of replayability makes it hard to cheer for.

What would you say has been the best Guild Wars 2 living world season, and why?
