Co-op MMO-styled boss battler TrinityS makes its debut on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5

Last year saw a unique piece of multiplayer gaming enter early access in the form of TrinityS, a three-player co-op title that saw players take up roles of the MMORPG holy trinity and face off against raid boss battles; we took a peek shortly after its PC early access release and found it to be interesting but not completely put together.

After a year’s worth of development, TrinityS is expanding its horizons as it arrives to both the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 consoles, in both a standard edition for $14 or a deluxe edition that packs in a digital art book and soundtrack for $22. In either case, buying a bundle grants access to the title on both PS4 and PS5.

On the subject of TrinityS’s development, the title was receiving sporadic smaller patches between April and July, but updates dried up for a few months afterward until last December, when a major patch added character customization, new and adjusted class skills, and a hard mode among other features. Patching then picked back up over the course of this year, though there has once more been an update gulf between June and now, presumably because developer Indie-us Games was working on the console port. Incidentally, the game is still being called early access on PC, so consider that before buying in on console.
