Team vs. team hero shooter Marvel Rivals continues to rumble forth through its testing phases. Readers will recall that NetEase announced that the game would land on consoles and kick off a cross-platform beta test in July, and now there is a calendar date of July 23rd for that test.

Console players who are interested in adding their name to the closed beta pool have to fill out a questionnaire, while PC players are being directed to Steam at 6:00 p.m. EDT on July 20th, when the “request access” button for the test will become active.

As reported previously, this new cross-platform test will introduce a total of 21 playable characters including the new arrivals of Venom and Adam Warlock, a total of four maps including the new Tokyo 2099: Spider Islands map, and three game modes in the form of Convoy, Domination, and Convergence.

Eager fans can also look forward to a preview livestream before testing begins on July 22nd, while the game will be a feature of this year’s San Diego Comic-Con with panels and signings happening on July 25th and 26th. Otherwise gamers can whet their appetite by watching some fresh gameplay footage featuring Venom in the trailer below.
