Looking for some pocket-sized MMO fun? Mu: Origin, the mobile spin-off of the long-running Mu Online, is starting its closed beta test today.
Webzen said that the initial CBT will be limited to a few thousand early access applicants. It’s also only for Android players (for the time being), so weep into your iPhones if you don’t qualify. Players can log in to try out the three different classes and participate in several events. Webzen is also promising rewards to “potential participants” during the beta.
The test will run from January 25th through February 1st across three servers in the US and Europe, after which all characters, hopes, and dreams will be wiped. Mu: Origin will come out some time this spring and will be followed by by an iOS launch in the future.
