Which is good, because we have to justify that Xbox One purchase somehow.

Is The Division getting endgame raids? That’s the Reddit rumor the fans at Arekkz Gaming speculated on over the weekend. According to the rumor (since deleted from Reddit), Ubisoft developers supposedly claim that an endgame eight-man raid on Riker Island with two difficulty modes and story gates will go live two weeks after launch so that folks can gear and team up. Arekkz finds the rumor pretty plausible; the key points against the idea, Arekkz argues, are that Riker Island as the location seems unlikely and that little in the rumor couldn’t have been dreamed up by someone familiar with how online raids work.

Adding fuel to the fire is a new piece from The Guardian out today, in which Ubisoft’s Julian Gerighty hedged questions about what locations might go into the game besides Manhattan, like Ellis Island or The Bronx. “This is what we wanted to focus on – there may be some surprises,” he says.
