Subtle changes.
Going live around noon EDT today in Neverwinter is Guild Alliances, a large update to the Maze Engine campaign. Players will be able to smush their guilds together into alliances of up to 13 guilds intended to “make it easier to find other players to do tough activities.”

The patch also heralds what PWE is calling the Sword Coast Chronicle and Benign Order of the Third Eye campaigns, which bring “together all the other campaigns into a recommended order” for highbies and lowbies respectively:

“The Chronicle reworks the old campaign interface to present your hero’s path through Neverwinter as a record of the many great feats your hero has performed (or will perform in the future). The new interface arranges campaigns and deeds (more on those in a moment) in ascending order of difficulty. If you are ever unsure where to head next in the game, simply open the Chronicle. This is especially important for the campaigns available at level 70. The end game campaigns increase in difficulty and assume you have earned some of the better gear from the preceding campaigns.”

The game is also in the midst of prepping for it PS4 launch and new expansion, Storm King’s Thunder, later this summer. If you’re planning on playing on the PS4 yourself, check out PWE’s compiled list of tips and tricks for newcomers.
