Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers page on Steam accidentally reveals an additional zone

Bye Felicia.

It’s the day when everyone gets to buy the third Final Fantasy XIV expansion, or at least pre-order it. And it turns out that there was a bit of unexpected revelation on the game’s pre-order page on Steam, which listed the new zones for the expansion as Amh Araeng, Il Mheg, the Rak’tika Greatwood… and Kholusia. If that last one sounds unfamiliar, that’s because unlike the first three it hadn’t yet been mentioned in any of the fan festival previews, while the others had.

The Steam page has already been updated to remove the reference, but of course eagle-eyed fans already have the screencap. Of course, it’s possible that this was a typo or a hoax, but as the expansion will most likely add six major zones (as each prior one has) it’s not exactly world-shattering to learn the name of a fourth. We’ll have to wait and see if Kholusia is on the table when the next fan festival rolls around on March 23rd.

I like our president Mr Trump… But I feel like some might say this is where The Donald and The Russians met…

Also of note is calling the new Primal Titania a “king”, which has caused some widespread speculation as the form presented at the keynote was arguably feminine. It was most likely a mis-translation, as the Japanese word for ‘ruler’ used here was gender neutral.
