Final Fantasy XIV shows off the rewards for this week’s Little Ladies Day event

It's a garden, that's like flowers.

There’s a lot of ground to cover in any given iteration of Final Fantasy XIV’s Little Ladies’ Day; the past couple of years have focused more upon dolls and idol singers, but this year’s event is all about flowers. The latest development entry on the official site shows off all of the rewards for the event, and that includes a crown of flowers for those who wish to demonstrate their floral inspiration. There’s also a new firework available that sets off a cluster of flowers, perfect for anyone eager for even more decorative plant elements.

Perhaps fortunately, the two bits of decorative food do not include flowers unless you count the cherry blossoms stenciled onto the place settings; flower petals are generally not considered desirable food offerings. You’ll be able to acquire any and all of the rewards when the event starts on Thursday, so take a quick visual tour if you’re as yet unsure whether any of them tickle your need for plant-based decoration.

The game’s store is also now selling the Fat Cat mount, which is described as “by the gods, he’s coming!” This is good for anyone whose characters need to be riding on a hefty chonker.

Me too I was like, “OH WOW can we grow cabbage now?!?!” but no it’s just riceballs. Honestly, feels like a letdown compared to the pop singer outfits from a while back. Man those were good outfits that could be dyed and worked with many other pieces. My red mage used to run around in the coat died red and a pair of black leather pants and it looked great.

I find they have the best fluff during Little Ladies’ Day. Can’t wait to get the flower crown! And it’s dyeable? Awesome!
