Captain’s log, stardate… Tuesday. Point five. With the impending launch of a big update for Star Trek Online, there’s also a new reputation on the way in the form of the Discovery Legends Reputation, which has already had its unveiled rewards tweaked slightly. Sure, the reputation is still rewarding a Dual Heavy Beam Bank, but the reward is now specifically designated as a wide-angle weapon, allowing players to mount these weapons and cover a larger arc of fire (ideal for slower-turning ships).
As with most reputations, rewards include two new space sets, a new ground set, new traits, and new kit modules for players to experiment with. Reputation can be earned from taking part in the newest task force operation or a handful of older ones, all of which feature scaling rewards for players; the rarer items used for assembling items can be acquired via harder versions of these queues. If you’re eager to be kitted out in the very latest of Discovery tie-ins, you’ll want to start working on your reputation as soon as Rise of Discovery goes live.
We're making two changes to the upcoming Discovery Legends Reputation. 1) The Dual Heavy Beam Banks are becoming Wide Angle Duel Heavy Beam Banks. 2) The Space Set is now named "Stamets-Tilly Field Modifications." You can find these updates here:https://t.co/ni6zcRmVpI pic.twitter.com/DaCOX8qv3R
