Now don't kiiiiiiiss

It’s time for patch notes! Sure, players still have a couple of days before Final Fantasy XIV throws wide the gates for early access into the Shadowbringers expansion, but the patch notes are available right now in… well, some of their glory. Seriously, these are the preliminary notes with certain things specifically not listed; we all know the dance by now. (And if you don’t, remember, Dancer is one of the jobs being added for this particular expansion.)

Players hoping to find teases of heretofore unannounced content like the mysterious sixth zone added with the expansion or naming conventions for the two new races will be sadly disappointed, but apparently you can also get bags of nuts for taking on elite marks in Norvrandt. There’s also the simple joy of having all the changes and additions listed in one place, so go ahead and read through the extensive patch notes now ahead of of the patch maintenance. Players will also be able to get news updates about the game pushed to their phones with the companion app, so that’s a nice addition.

If you’re planning to push through the content as fast as possible, we also do have a survival guide for the early access period of Shadowbringers.
