Final Fantasy XIV is rolling out another live letter in two weeks

Shadows brought.

Sunday will be the one-month anniversary of Final Fantasy XIV’s third expansion launching into early access, which means that players have been deep into Shadowbringers for a while now. But that doesn’t mean players don’t have more questions, and on August 7th producer and director Naoki Yoshida is planning to answer those questions with the game’s next Letter from the Producer LIVE running at 7:00 a.m. EDT. So if you’ve got lingering expansion questions, now is the time to ask them.

The letter will explicitly be themed around answering questions, as the game’s next major patch has not been announced (and really shouldn’t be expected until October), although it seems likely that the letter will also cover the next two annual seasonal events and reveal another surprise or two. If you can’t wait that long for something from the FFXIV team, though, you can check out the footage of the game’s showing at the Japan Expo in Paris just below.

FFXIV sucks. I’ll probably put a couple of Thousand more hours into it and then I’m done with this trash game.

I wouldn’t call it a trash game, I’d be playing with some real life friends right now if it were not for some blatant connection issues.

Hopefully they roll out some better infrastructure, between my order for Shadowbringers sitting in limbo for 7 hours before I cancelled it, and their inability to connect to my PC despite calling my cable provider to open up the ports on my router they requested, shutting down my antivirus, and shutting down my fire wall.

It sucks, they make great games but their infrastructure from their website, to their market place, to their servers are a joke.
