Ashes of Creation shows off alpha progress and a four-winged falcon

Intrepid Studios, the creative force behind the fantasy MMO Ashes of Creation, is taking bold strides forward in communication this year. Following its 2020 outlook at the start of the month, Intrepid is now closing out January with a lengthy development update that specifically covered the upcoming Alpha 1 phase.

In this long developer livestream, the team showed off its “modular” user interface, weapon animations, and various buildings for the different node levels of city growth. Players can expect to see a new biome next month, which Intrepid says will include grasslands and magical forests.

As a capper for the livestream, the team answered an assortment of 28 questions from the community. Mount emotes, the world map, gathering, and the ability for summoners to wrangle dragons were part of the discussion there.
